Day 12 – A picture of something you love

ICE CREAM. I will always and forever LOVE ice cream. Cold Stone is my top favorite place, because I'm a very rich-loving person. If I'm going to have a snack, or a treat I would love it to be as rich as I can.

I have loved every kind I have ever tasted.

I personally enjoy ice cream smothered with caramel... or the other way around. Either will work :)

Day 10 – A picture of someone you see yourself marrying/being with in the future

Dougray Scott
Now.... I really couldn't decide once again who to pick for this!
All the guys in my life are on missions, and I never know what the future holds with them out.
Sure, I'd like to end up with some of them, but I just don't know the future, like I said! My favorite thing to say is "It takes two to tango." Because its true :) It takes so much balance between two people, and an equal wanting of a relationship.
I care deeply about a couple of guys, and for me its hard to know their intentions while they're gone.
And that is why I don't really have anyone in my life right now. All the guys I've met at college are nice (or players), and I just haven't clicked with any of them, which is fine.
SO.... this is why I picked Dougray Scott! He is my favorite all time attractive chick-flick leading men. He's off of Ever After, which is my ultimate number one chick flick :)
I know I know I know, guys in chick flicks aren't real, and guys in real life aren't like this. BUT... I still love him.

Day 09 – A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most

I've been thinking about this for the past two days, and I've finally come to a conclusion. The person who I have lived with for 17 years of my life, and I've known since I was 3! That would be my baby sister.
She has been with me through everything, since day one.
Man that dog LOVES her. I think it is because she smells, and he feels bad for her. I'm right :)

Whether its guys, school, or friends, she has definitely gotten me through the most, and been there every step of the way!

I LOVE  HER TO PIECES.
Now that she is getting older, taller, and nearing the college age we've grown a ton closer.
More things in common, that kind of stuff.
Sure she's 3 inches taller than me, but who cares??
We've been through everything together: family drama, boy drama, friend drama, and who knows what else!
All of us sisters at the Oquirrh Mountain temple open house.
We sleep in MY bed, which is now hers now but originally mine, every time I come home and stay up late talking, and catching up. We share everything. From bras to shirts and earrings! (I had THE hardest time leaving for college the first year, because I had a hard time splitting all of our stuff up)
She is such a sweetie pie, and she is definitely the peacemaker in our family.

This is one of our favorite spots to be lazy :)

Allison Jayne (AJ) Bateman, I love you and I'm proud to call you my sister :)

Day 08 – A picture that makes you laugh

I realize this picture is somewhat creepy and extremely terrifying, and I'm terribly sorry for that. BUT this picture must be shown, because it really makes me laugh. Hard. Of course my good friends from high school helped out a ton.... go figure. We dressed up to go to a stomp/dance, and this is what I ended up looking like.

This is also another one of my favorite pictures... it is hilarious. If you don't know what she is from, go to http://www.hulu.com/collections/229/73360
and enjoy :)

Day 07 – A picture of someone/something that has the biggest impact on you

This changed my life. Don't get me wrong, I've definitely grown and learn a ton from this experience and I wouldn't change it for anything.
I love my mom, and I'm so grateful for all she has done in my life.
Sure we got free meals for a year, that was definitely a plus! Our ward was awesome, I cannot explain how much L♥VE I feel towards them all, and the unlimited service they did.
I love my family to death, and I'm soooooo glad I get to live with them forever!!
It was the summer of my sophomore year in high school when my mom found her lump. I was learning to drive, and I had a steady group of girl friends goin at the time. I believe I was at the BYU dance camp when she found it, and I had no idea what was going on with my family.
I got home from my dance camp, and my mom told me she found a lump in her left breast. She felt ok about it though, because my grandma and my aunts have all had cysts removed, and non cancerous.
So my mom went in for her check up, and we waited to hear back from the doctors. I heard that women are supposed to start checking their breasts at a young age, and to start getting mammograms when they turn 40. My mom was turning 40 in two weeks.
I remember me, my sisters, mom, and grandma were all scrap booking (which we RARELY do fyi) in the bonus room above my grandparents garage when my mom's cell phone rang. I answered the phone, and I recognized the number.
My dad works at the hospital, so I've seen that number plenty of times.
I can see it now: all of us laughing and getting along great, when I look my mom in the eye and told her who was on the phone, and handed it over to her.
All the rest was kind of a blur because I ran out of the room, completely numb.
My mom went through multiple chemotherapy doses, plus radiation. Both were extremely hard for her, and hard on her body especially. Even now, she still struggles from the effects of chemo.
I remember getting home from school to see my mom lying in her bed pale, sick, tired, and drained because of chemo, and she couldn't do a single thing.
She's my hero, and it was extremely tough to stay positive through it all. It was hard on all of us as a family, like I said, but this experience brought us together

Day 06 – A picture that shows your true self

PS. I'm actually kinda known for my weird/creepy faces, just so you know.

Day 05 – A picture of somewhere you’ve been to

The summer after my senior year in High School, I was able to attend a church history tour!! This tour changed my life for the better, and my testimony has grown immensely because of it. I had soooo many great experiences, I wish I could share them all. But I will limit them all down to one, and I'm sure you'll hear of more in the future :) The tour was 19 days long, with 56 other people I barely knew. This is the Kirtland temple, and it is currently owned by the Church of Christ (or the RLDS church I believe). They allow tours to go through, which in my opinion is sad. The temple should be a sacred and holy place, and the Kirtland temple still kinda is but at the same time not really. For instance, I went to the Washington D.C. temple, and I needed a temple recommend to enter. In the Kirtland, anyone can go through and there is definitely a different spirit there. Its not bad or anything, just different.
Anyways.... there was a tour group of 56 of us (50 were teens), and we got to go through the first two stories like everyone else. BUT... here comes the amazing part. My tour guide, Brother Tesch, has been doing this tour for the past 36 years, and has done 38 plus tours. So I guess you can say he knows what he is doing.
Brother Tesch is really good friends with the guy who operates the tours for the RLDS church, and since they're way good friends our tour gets to do something not everyone is able to. We got to go to the top floor :) It might not sound like that big of a deal, but to us it was. We were able to go to the room where Joseph Smith received a ton of revelation for the book of Mormon and such, and the Lord appeared to Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery in the top floor of the Kirtland Temple. When we all got up to the 3rd floor, the spirit was amazing. It was so strong, and everyone was touched deeply. The church is true :)

Day 04 – A habit that you wish you didn’t have

A habit I wish I didn't have.... I don't really know. I've been racking my brain all day, with no luck. Finally I started asking people. Like my roommates, and my wonderful mother. My roommate told me she didn't know me well enough, and I've lived with her for a year and a half!! How could she NOT know me. *cough *cough KELSEY.

AND my mom hung up on me, which was no help at all. I mean, who really hangs up on their daughter that they rarely see?! Not to mention I'm the favorite child, obviously.

So I was left to figure this one out on my own. A habit that I HATE hate hate HATE that I have: I have extremely dry lips and I pick at them. They're always dry, and I have yet to find a chap stick that really works! I hate this habit. With a passion.

Day 03 – A picture of you and your craziest friend

Senior Cotillion
I would have to say Haley Haws is my craziest friend. It's not a party without her, I'm not even joking.
We've had wayyyyy too many fun times together :)
AND, I don't plan on stopping them.

Love her.

She be one of my best friends :)

Day 02 – A really good memory

Alyssa and I at the restaurant in Rexburg
Hummmmm..... I had a hard time picking a "really good memory". I finally decided on one, luckily. Man I wish I could redo or relive this memory I enjoyed it sooooo much. At the end of spring semester of 2010, 5 girls and 5 guys traveled about 3 hours up to Ashton, Idaho. Then we arrived at Dave's house, and he being the awesome man he is, took us out on a wagon ride right as the sun was setting. Dave has a million and one of the same dogs, and I forgot what they were called. He had a certain whistle and everything for calling these "cattle herding?" dogs.
When we got back from our "sleigh ride" we ate dinner and played games VERY late into the night on Friday. And to tell you the truth I'm not a big game person, because I'm secretly so competitive on the inside that when I lose I pretend like I'm not, if that makes any sense. We organized rides to fit us all somehow, and got on up there on a Friday night. Her grandparents took us ALL out to dinner in Rexburg, which was very nice.

The gang at mesa falls:)
Wagon ride with Dave! (and heather attempting to learn how to drive)
The next morning we were up bright and early! We did SOOOO much this day, I don't even know where to start. Well I think at the time 10 is PLENTY early after that long night. I awoke to the lovely smell of everything imaginable, and got out there a ridin!
GORGEOUS
That was also the day I almost faced death. Twice. Dave dared me to jump on the back of Joshua Hall's horse next to the wagon. Little did I know I would almost fall off, and Kera would have to come save me. I turned out alright I guess, but I will NOT be doing it again anytime soon. Today (this is STILL Saturday) was also the day we went to Mesa falls. All the guys had to be all tough and throw ice, which I didn't understand but oh well. Gotta love them, right?? Also on Saturday I had the chance to shoot my first gun! I was horrible. Worse than horrible, if you can imagine. I had a blast, none the less. This was also the day I rode a super smooth horse, and almost fell off again. Lets just say I love horses and it was a blast, but I'm good on riding for a little bit :)
Troy and Kendall. Look at them go....
What a bunch of happy campers!

Troy needs some boots!! Oh how we made fun of him....

I probably loved the puppies more than the horses
One day old puppies

This is when I almost died.... with Kera to the rescue!!
Joshua Hall= stud.

Day 01 – A recent photo of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself

Myself and Joshua Hall
Oh dear where to start... I would have to say this is a pretty recent picture of myself with one of my most favorite people EVER. (yes I know you already saw this picture but oh well you get to see it again because I LOVE it)
ANYWAYS....
Fact numba 1) I like my feet, or just feet in general. They don't bug me or gross me out. In fact, I kinda look forward to the day when I get to rub my husbands feet.
2) I love to smell my hair, especially when I'm bored. Now you can tell if I'm bored if I start smelling my hair.
3)I love classical music. Especially the music I use to dance to in ballet.
4) My first concert was The Wiggles! It was in 6th grade and I was super embarrassed to be going, I even remember walking through the halls with my head down knowing where I was heading. Once I got there with my dads side of the family, it was an amazing concert and I had a blast!!
5) I love my hair. Everyone tries to get me to cut it, and I know I would regret it. So I don't :)
6) Every time I drive home with Kelsey we sing to The Beatles at the top of our lungs. We currently have EVERY SINGLE word down on the album "Sargent Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band" down.
7) I rarely get acne. My skin is soooo dry that it dries everything out haha
8) I'm known for my good back rubs and back scratches. I guess I have strong thumbs and long nails!
9) I could be a morning person if I wanted to. I use to be at the beginning of the school year, but yeah it didn't last very long
10) I love my mom, and I'm very grateful for her :) She's a breast cancer survivor and we've been through a lot as a family.
11) I'm not a very bossy person. I like to go with the flow with a lot of things, but I do voice my opinion when needed.
12) My old lady name is Mildred. My roommates and I all gave each other old lady names. Weird.
13) My favorite movie of all time is "Ever After". Never EVER gets old :)
14) I think a little scruff on a man is VERRRRY attractive. Very.
15) Don't feed me popcorn.
