The Whole World In My Hand

I'll keep this blog post short and sweet, just to let ya get a sneak peek of what has been on my mind tonight.

I absolutely adore my grandparents.
I went with my dear mother to grab some stuff in a creepy church.... ok it was not creepy at all, but still. Dark. With a lot of huge moths. Oh, and did I mention the sprinklers were on? 3 at the same time- pointing strait at the church door. So we have to dodge them perfectly to get in and out of the church. Lets just say my mom might not have made it out completely dry.

Anyways, next stop, grandparents house!

My grandparents are some of the best people I have ever met. They are so in-tune with the spirit, and they never cease to amaze me. I love them so much, and I'm glad I get to call them my grandparents!! I'm not gonna lie, I've made some stupid mistakes in the past.... and they're always there for me in my time of need. They help me get my butt in gear! I really look up to them so much, and hope I can be as great as they are some day.

Antsy.

Of course I am antsy for a whole lot of THINGS.

Like school. It is a love/hate relationship.
Things I hate about school: money. tests. dumb tests.
Things I LOVE about school: learning (which can be hard at times). social-aspect. etc....
I love how unified USU is! It is a great school, and you get out of it what you put in. Haha and of course I have to learn the hard way about a lot of things.... but hey I'm learning, right??

Like institute. I have MISSED institute like crrrrrrrrazy!!! I took it for granted in my previous semesters, before last semester, to pay for Sweden. I worked from 10-10 almost everyday, so no room for institute for me. I'm excited to be able to make institute a priority, and learn about the gospel other than on Sunday.
I would love to take "Understanding Isaiah" class, and "Preparing for Eternal Marriage" class. I wanted to buy a book on Understanding Isaiah... but then I couldn't afford it :( So why not take a free class?? Annnnd the classic Prep for Eternal Marriage. I have I have taken the class before, and learned SO MUCH. That special someone is out there somewhere, and I need to prepare for them all I can, so when the time comes I will hopefully be ready :)

Like being in shape. I feel like such a fat lard doing nothing with my life! Luckily the gym will be freeee! I miss eating healthy and feeling extremely great about myself. Not that I'm bad at the moment, I could be tons better, believe me!

Like having my own room. And my own bathroom. How nice is that?? I feel too spoiled to be a dirt poor college student. Of course the wallets are skinny as they ever have been.... I sure hope it will be worth it!

Like getting new roommates, and returning with some wonderful old ones. I get nervous to be having new roommates, because they make ALL the difference! I've had some fabulous ones in the past, and super crazy ones that had a crazy way of irk-ing me, if that's even a word. I'm returning to school with two of my best friends, well, kinda. One is engaged.... so basically one. And she better be ready to par-tay it up with me!!! Because I am so ready.

Like Christmas. I have usually DREADED winter in the past (if you've been in Logan during the winter, walking up 8th east in the freezing chilly wind, carrying a butt load of art crap, in the dark, with no gloves, you know what I mean). I am very much looking forward to spending the winter holidays with my loved ones! Is that bad I'm already looking forward to Christmas break??

I LOVE "love"

Has a person ever made you so happy, you just want to cry??
Well, I've cried a LOT over the past week.... Because I left that person. In Sweden. At the airport.
He makes me extremely happy, plus he treats me with a ton of respect. He dazzles me, and loves me for who I am.

Enough sadness!!! I know I'll see him again :)
Plus we skype everyday, and it is the highlight of my whole day.

My last week in Sweden was amazing! And sad, saying goodbye to everyone.
That's just how life is.... and it's slightly depressing!
My friend Alyssa and I are planning on making a new country: Swederica!! (Sweden and America, in case you didn't get it....)
We're going to take all the people we know, put them on our island, and live happily ever after :) Great idea, eh??
Anyways...........
I will give you the highlights of the past few weeks! Enjoy :)

In Sweden there are a bunch of random cats and bunnies. Everywhere you go.

Gorgeous sunset on my 12 hour long date, with one amazing young man :)

There was a swan on our date... random?

On my date I missed my train the night before... so we stayed up all night! We watched the sunset, AND the sunrise :)

In Stockholm, we lived out of these bags. And we felt homeless!

By the time we were settled in, we were STARVING.

Thus resulting dancing in front of the microwave, trying to get it to cook the food for our tummies!!

I then tucked Alyssa into bed. I think I did a grrreat job!!

Doing baptisms in the Stockholm temple= AMAZING

This is the King and Queens current castle? I believe... I could be wrong!

Walking up the smallest alley? street? In Europe.

Cutest boy ever!! I love him to pieces. He makes me very excited to have kids, that's how cute he is!

In Stockholm we were hit on by Estonian guys. They were verrry creepy! They wanted my facebook and skype name.... and my phone number. I pretended I couldn't understand them (and I kinda couldn't.... actually!) So this is me "running" away from them!

Here in America we don't have communal showers. If we do, it is rare! In Europe, the women shower together. At Festinord (a week long camp I went to for YSA) we all had to shower together!
Not us Americans! We did not rest until we found our own private shower, 25 minutes away.
In this picture I was so happy, I wet my pants because I couldn't stop laughing!

Kebab pizza is the best thing there is. Too bad it's illegal in the U.S.!

My favorite cereal ever!! Amanda bought me this cereal to take home :)

Cliff jumping with the Hulterstrom brothers

David did a flip into the water... and had a slight face plant! I love this picture... so cool

Best friends! :)

This is Amanda's nephew... I love him to pieces as well! He drew me a picture, and made me a rose-like thing out of lego's? It was very nice of him.

Amanda's mom knitted us scarves!!!!! She bought the yarn on a Monday, and had them all made by Thursday when she gave them to us!

We could easily swim out to this floating dock thing- super fun!! We were all pushing each other off :)

Amanda I miss you soooo much :( I'm so grateful you let me stay in your house for 3 months!

We all love each other :)

The missionaries in our ward drew us a picture for a going away present! Very nice of them.

He helped me pack all night! We got slightly distracted.... by him trying on all of my dresses!

These boys came to the airport! One last time. The "underwear" the guy on the far left is wearing.... use to be a dark purple ;) They are his swimming-wear!

All in all I learned so much at Sweden, and I had a lovely summer. I can't wait to return :)
