Married Life :)

Hmmm where on earth do I start??!
Life is just great. I absolutely LOVE being married to Joel! (I know everyone says they love being married, but I REALLY REALLY love it!!!) A short run through of our wedding week: I left Sweden Wednesday, June 13th early in the morning with my family! We wanted to head down a day early and stay at the guesthouse, so we didn't have to rush and get ready in the morning and THEN drive 3 hours to the temple! Getting 8 girls (including me) the day of and then traveling? Kinda ridiculous we decided. We arrived in Denmark early in the afternoon and just relaxed! It was so crazy the first week after my family got in Sweden, we hardly had any alone time to relax. My grandma (who just turned 80! She is simply amazing for traveling!!!) and aunt had arrived, everyone was safe, all luggage was on time... it was nice to be together :)
I was verrrry determined to sleep the night before my wedding day, so I stocked up on sleeping pills. I think I fell asleep while my mom was painting my toe nails? Sometime around 11 pm :)
I woke up at 7:30, and was all ready by 9:30. Then my family woke up around 10 am haha!!! I was doing my sisters makeup and hair that morning... It was the best decision ever to leave a day early! I wasn't as stressed ;)
Anywaysss. We were sealed for all time and eternity at 1:30 in the Denmark temple, and it was such an amazing day. We were SO happy everything turned out so well!!!! After we took pictures at the temple, we headed to a castle in Denmark that was simply stunning. I felt like such a princess haha! While we were taking pictures... Joel suddenly looks at his watch and realized we were going to be an hour late for dinner at our honeymoon hotel/spa! We were supposed to get there at 7... and arrived at midnight. Because we got lost in Denmark. Haha oops. Luckily Joel's mom knows the cook there, and asked to save us some food!
Our "first" honeymoon was at a spa treatment place! It was completely perfect. We had our wedding on Thursday, and the reception Saturday. We just relaxed, and had an appointment to have a full body massage.
The reception... was absolutely beautiful. Everything was put together so nicely, I couldn't have asked for anything better!! They wanted to surprise me with the decorations, which was quite nice. Little did I know they had looked at my pinterest account and got ALL the ideas off of it! How many girls can say they got their pinterest wedding??? We were treated like royalty :) There was music, speeches, games, and tons of laughter!! One of the games, Joel and I had to stand up (while everyone watched us) and switch one shoe. Back to back, we held up the shoes so everyone could see, and answered questions! Like, "Who is more baby hungry? Who will do the dishes? Who will wake up with the kids in the middle of the night?" And we had to raise the shoe to who we thought fit the answer. And I couldn't see Joel ;) It sure was a LOT of fun!! Then the point came where Joel had a surprise for me! I about died I was so surprised. His dad wrote a song in Swedish to Joel's mom (which is one of my ultimate VERY favorite songs) and Joel sang it to me! He  had been giving me excues as to why he couldn't sing it like, "It was too hard..." So at the reception he jokingly says (to everyone) "Well Mollie, it wasn't really hard ;)" This was the point where I had to control SO much composure not to start bawling and completely break down infront of 200? people.
HERE is the link to the song!!
After our reception we were home for a week and spent time with my family, since it was their last week in Sweden :( We spent midsummer with them and just relaxed! Then it was time to say goodbye. Man, that was hard. I had to keep on reminding myself that I could skype them, and I will see them again soon. We had a quick goodbye, and that was nice. The hardest part was realizing I won't see my sisters grow up... That felt like a giant punch in the gut. Thankfully Joel has made the transition to moving here quite easy, and very natural.
Well, that pretty much sums up those two weeks during our wedding!! If you would like to read all bout our two week honeymoon to Malta, read Joel's Blog! You can find it HERE
