Lately I have been home. By myself. With the internet. Lets just say I have been able to catch up a lot on my favorite tv shows!!
I have also started a new painting project. I will post a picture when it gets done... hopefully soon.
I have had a lot of time to think about what I would like to do with my life. I know I would love to paint, but what on earth should I do with that?? Teach? I don't know about that one.... But I guess we will see what happens. I meet with SFI (Swedish For Immigrants) (yeah, I am an immigrant... kinda weird, huh!) on Friday, so we shall see what my schedule will be like! Hopefully better than sitting at home by myself all day. Now don't get me wrong, it isn't that bad! Yet. I can picture it getting tedious and repetative within a few weeks, so thank heavens I will be studying Swedish! I just can't wait for the day when I can understand.... lets say at least 50% of the conversations around me. THAT would be nice.
Last night (Utah time) I skyped my wonderful mother until... 1am her time? So about 9:30 am my time. I was eating it all up. I LOVE talking with my mom! I talk forever and she just says, "Yeah. Uh hu. Oh really? Tell me about that." And I just talk her little ear off. I tell her all about my life. I looove talking to my mom, now more than ever. It certainly helps cure my homesickness! I even told her how Joel showed me how to make healthy pancakes (they consist of cottage cheese, eggs, and some kind of crushed nut thing!) and they are pretty good.
Yeah. Joel teaches me how to cook. I can't cook... anything really. Shouldn't I be the cute little housewife that knows how to do everything? Anyways, he LOVES to cook... so I just let him do his thang he loves. And I patiently do the dishes. It is quite the process we have, let me tell ya.
Yep, that is pretty much my life right now! I absolutely love being married to Joel though! We have such a blast together, I love it!
