Indoor Photo Sesh and Random Thoughts

The other day I was trying to decide what to do with Emma. It was raining outside, which really narrows our list of things to do since we don't have a car. She had just woken up from a nap and was so happy and content, so I grabbed her and walked up some stairs to a little corner in our apartment building and took some pictures of her! She's the cutest little model I have, so why not? :)
She was looking out the window and laughing. I always wonder what is going through that little head of hers ;)

I've been practicing "Patty cake" with Emma lately, and she has started randomly clapping her hands. So cute to see her learning!
I love how she has her little hands resting on her legs!

I am so glad I caught this new face of hers on camera. She has started scrunching her nose and it makes me laugh so hard!

This is probably my favorite picture.

More clapping and looking at the lights.

"Hey Mom! If I rest my hand on my leg like this, does it look good?"

Ok, maybe this is my other favorite picture.

Aaaaand another scrunchy face. It almost looks like she's yelling at someone!

Maybe some more clapping.

Sweden is so pretty right now. Still green with some fall color! I just wish we could go outside haha. Oh! You can also see her three bottom teeth in this picture ;) Why are baby teeth so cute?? #seriously

And of course more clapping with chubby fingers.

Emma was getting tired by this point and fell over haha, oops. Which resulted in me rushing to her side and loving her better.

Her "Mom, can we go now? I'm tired of posing for pictures" face.

I love my fuzzy head baby!! I get caught off guard multiple times a day where it hits me that I am her mom, and she is only ours! No one else's ;)

Right now I am so ready to be back in the states and have my family and friends meet little Emma. It is all I can think about these days! We arrive in Utah on December 6th and will leave January 10th. That is in a little more than a month folks!! We'll be there for my birthday and Christmas, woohoooo!!! Don't get me wrong... I absolutely love Sweden. But, I am an American! And I can't wait to be back in America and hear English all around me. That is one of my favorite parts of coming home ;) It is like a big breath of fresh air and I can relax 100% again.

My family is dying to see Emma of course. Joel and I joke all the time that we'll hardly see or get to hold her during our visit to the states ;) Also I thought I would clarify.. Joel and I want to move back to the states, but not anytime soon unfortunately. Our first step was getting Joel and Emma's dual citizenship by having American passports, and we can check that off our list!

Emma chatted the whole time with the Embassy lady, it was adorable!

We celebrated afterwards with dinner because we had all the correct papers! We got delicious hamburgers of course. My weak spot!

On a totally different subject, last night was the first night Joel has ever put Emma to bed, and the first time I haven't nursed her before she falls asleep. I was out shopping with my dear mother-in-"love", and it was the weirdest thing that Emma fell asleep just fine without me. It was basically a stab to the heart, just because I love nursing her so much. Emma has been eating pureèd food so well lately, and it makes me realize how it could be possible she would want to be done nursing soon. Not asap of course, but she is definitely losing interest. :( Baby girl is growing up!
