Just riding out bikes in Sweden. No big deal :)
Alyssa and I made a goal to do something very random every day. It's kinda working! This day we jumped in EVERY puddle in the POURING rain.
Now this is quite the story! The missionary whose hand I'm shaking- I definitely know him! He is my cousins husbands brother!!! He gets home in January, and will be going to the same college as me. This world is tooooo small :)
This adorable little boy was born a week-ish ago. Life is so amazing! I can't wait to have one of these little guys of my own. Of course I will wait, but still. You get the point...
This was our random activity for the day. Haha we're becoming very unimaginative, but I guess we're still trying eh?? We still have a blast together :)
The Hulterstrom brothers have been great friends with us!! We have grown to love them immensely. The live about 20 minutes away, and they drove to hang out with us a couple nights ago! We showed them our favorite lake that we occasionally stroll around. And skinny dip in. But not with them of course!
Last Saturday I went on a terrific date!!! Sadly enough we took verrrry few pictures. We took a boat to an island an hour and a half away in Gothenburg! It took forever to get to, but so worth it. We walked around the island.... and he packed a lunch! THEN we went swimming in the ocean. Overall it was a great day :)
I took these kiddos to the beach! We had quite a few casualties, luckily no one was injured too bad. Elsa grabbed an electric fence. I am such a great babysitter!
This would be the lake we love to walk around. It's pretty small, but VERY gorgeous.
Having fun in the car. Alyssa has a TON of hair. People call her Taylor Swift because she's so tall, and has similar hair.
Our famous lake of course!
Another one of our random activities. Climbing up a garage!
Also we went to a lake, on our way home from institute. We are all just great friends :)
And we like to take pictures, if ya couldn't tell!
Last week we visited Copenhagen, Denmark! It was a gorgeous city. I wouldn't want to live there.... but it was nice to visit
Copenhagen!
We're getting closer to downtown, Copenhagen. So many bikers! They have their own lane and lights, and that's what the blue lane is for.
Did I mention there was a lot of people??
If you've been to temple square, you've seen the second-version of the Christus statue. This would be the original :)
Us after doing baptisms in the Denmark temple. It use to be a church, but the members got the church to make it a temple. I LOVED it so much! The spirit was so strong. I hadn't been to the temple in a few months (since I got my last ticket going to the temple, a week before we left....) and it was very nice to feel the spirit so strongly, and feel completely at peace.
We met a girl there that was from Utah! Very cool. She is traveling the Baltic sea with her brother and his 7 kids. I wished her luck :)
The Danish language is very close to Swedish. I think Swedish sounds a lot prettier, but maybe I'm just biased because I've been around it for so long! Danish sounds very close to Swedish, but it sounds like they have a bunch of cotton balls in their mouths.
The sunset on our way home from Denmark, on the ferry. Very beautiful!
This would be Viktor, and my good friend Heather. They are one of a kind! I love them dearly.
Viktor is.... a special person. But a lot of fun, so we keep him around :)
These guys missed their train that night, so we had a big ol sleepover at my place! Haha it was a bunch of fun, letting them borrow my PJ's and such. I'm going to miss them waaaay too much when I have to leave this wonderful country!
My blog is officially updated, and for those of you who read everything: CONGRATS!!! I am very impressed :)
4 notes:
Denmark!!! Yay! I've totally been there. Love it.
Great post! And I didn't even have to use google translate :D
So glad you're having fun!
