Marrrrriage

Isn't life just full of surprises? Lately life has been hard. Real hard. I feel as though everything happened all at once! Marriage plans were at a halt, Joel was having a hard time with Thai boxing decisions, we were BOTH sick and missing each other so much, I started a new job that I'm still ( attempting ) getting use to.... The worst was being at work, and knowing I couldn't talk to Joel that day, when we needed each other the most.
THANKFULLY we are past those weird/horrible/smoldering/lonely weeks and we moved on together! It was hard, but we made it though. I feel as though that is the hardest part about long distance.... not being there for each other when needed the most.
Right now we are planning on getting married on June 14th in Denmark ( where the closest temple is ;) ).

A few weeks ago our plans changed. You see, physically Joel and I have only spent 6 weeks together. Crazy? Yes we are... about each other ;) hahahahaaa.... Cheesy, but true. If our relationship wasn't right, I wouldn't be doing all this. Anyways, I visited the Swedish Consulate for an interview (I had to so I could have a residence permit to live in Sweden). Pretty intense, I'm not gonna lie. She is now going to send off my information, and the Swedish Migration Board in Sweden will see if our relationship is legit or not. The only thing the consultant is concerned about is physically how long Joel and I have spent together. There is a chance that it might not get accepted. And I have NO idea where we would go after that. I'm currently still in the process of waiting for an answer, I sure hope it comes soon! The consulate told me the migration board has to realize soon that online dating is acceptable, and it works out. Instead of JUST looking at how long we have physically been together. The consulate gave us a fantastic review, so I hope the board bases their decision off of that :) I have a good feeling about my application being accepted, and we are still planning on the wedding in June.

I have a job! As I mentioned. I nanny two kids: Jaxon, 4 and London, 2. And MAN are they cute! With LOADS of energy. I paint, dance, sing, play house, run from monsters, go sailing, eat, and color everyday! We could probably do all that in half an hour, that is their attention span. And that is my job :) Don't get me wrong, it is hard! Being their nanny I try to teach them and have fun as well. I was thrown into these kids lives (they just had their nanny of two years leave... imagine how hard of a spot that is to fill??) and trying to learn all of their quirks and habits has been interesting. It all ranges from little things  like cutting their bread and how they get dressed in the morning. I heard that nannying could be a good thing, so I could see how parenting is and such. My mom joked that it would make me wait a while to have kids! If anything it gets me excited, quite the opposite ;) I'm excited to have my OWN kids to take care of, not someones kids. But don't worry, Joel and I will wait until the time is right! We still have a while.

Here are some pictures we took while painting! Quite the experience :)
